About GreatestOfLove

Scripture should feel close — not hidden in another tab.

GreatestOfLove is a desktop app for keeping Scripture nearby during the day, growing into a live Bible study platform for friends, reading rooms, notes, streaks, and accountability.

See the platform

Desktop first

Scripture nearby while you work, study, write, or rest.

Platform next

Reading rooms, shared notes, accountability, and live study.

Origin

From a desktop verse to a shared study space.

The first version is intentionally simple. The long-term vision is bigger: Scripture, friends, notes, and accountability in one place.

GreatestOfLove started from a simple feeling: reading the Bible alone can feel lonely.

The desktop app came first because Scripture should be easy to keep nearby during the day — not buried behind another app, tab, or phone notification. Then the bigger idea became clear: Bible study online should feel more alive, shared, and steady.

Available first

Desktop Scripture overlay.

Keep a verse visible while you work, study, write, or rest — without opening your phone.

Coming next

Live Bible study platform.

Reading rooms, shared notes, friends, streaks, voice reflections, and accountability.

Why it exists

The goal is simple: make Scripture easier to return to.

GreatestOfLove is not trying to make faith feel like another app to manage. It is meant to make Scripture feel close, steady, and easier to come back to during ordinary days.

Scripture first

The product should keep the focus on God’s Word — not on noise, trends, or endless feeds.

Faith with people

Reading can be personal, but it should not always feel isolated. Friends, groups, and accountability matter.

Built for daily life

GreatestOfLove starts on the desktop because that is where many of us work, study, write, and think.

Why we build

The Word should not get second-class software.

Reading Scripture and building around the Word deserves the same level of care, design, polish, and reliability that people expect from the best products in tech.

Excellent design
Serious engineering
Built for believers

Software should feel cared for.

The tools around Scripture should be stable, thoughtful, beautiful, and easy to return to.

Less noise, more intention.

The goal is not another addictive feed. It is a calmer place that helps people stay close to the Word.

Built with reverence.

The Bible does not need technology to be powerful, but the tools pointing to it should be made with care.

The story

From a small desktop idea to a shared study space.

GreatestOfLove started with one quiet problem: Scripture should be easier to keep close. The platform grows from that same thought.

01

The problem

Reading alone felt too quiet.

Bible plans existed, but they did not feel live. There was no simple place to read with someone, talk through the passage, and keep showing up together.

02

The first app

A verse on the desktop.

The first idea was simple: keep a Bible verse visible without opening a phone, browser tab, or another full app.

03

The bigger vision

Bible study that feels alive.

Reading rooms, shared notes, streaks, accountability, voice reflections, nearby study sessions, and friendships built around Scripture.

Start small. Keep Scripture close.

Built for people who want Scripture close during ordinary days.

Start with the desktop app today. Join the platform list if you want updates as GreatestOfLove grows into reading rooms, shared notes, and live Bible study.
